Whatever after Spill the beans

        By: Sarah Mlynowski

Hello climbers! This is another review from one of my favorite Series, whatever after. This is the 13th book of the series. The series is basically about a girl that goes into a magic mirror with her brother and ends up in a fairy tale. Each time they end up messing up the fairy tale, they feel determined to fix it back. They try to make the ending the same except the characters end up with a different ending. In this book, they end up in Jack and the beanstalk. Here’s the review that Abby is going to tell…

“Jonah, my brother, is always cheerful. But, one day, he lost his soccer game. He was very sad. I mean, who couldn’t? I was sad when I lost my spelling bee. So I decided to cheer him up! I needed some cheering too anyway. When he refuses ice cream, you know he’s seriously sad. So, something more fun is taking a trip in our magic mirror! Yes, we have a magic mirror! So here we come! When we go through the mirror with Prince, (our dog) we discover that we are in Jonah’s FAVORITE fairy tale: Jack and the beanstalk! Cool right? Jonah’s dream FINALLY came true! Jonah has always dreamed of going into the tale, and today, it came true! Jonah is happy, WHEW! FINALLY! We have fun meeting Jack, and Jack gives Jonah some Soccer, sorry, football (that’s why they call it here) tips. But then, Jonah gets upset and things get bad. Jonah accidentally spilled the beans by telling Jack that he was going to get magic beans on his way of selling the cow, and Jack tells his mother he is going to get magic beans. Okay, in the story Jack was going to sell the cow because she wasn’t giving milk. So, now his mom is! So, Jack won’t get to meet the trader who gives him the magic beans in return for the cow! Oh-uh. Now we have to make a deal with the sneaky trader, ( which we just did and we traded the beans for the prince!)go climb up the beanstalk, get the riches from the giants, find the golden goose, take 5 coins and get Prince back. And soon, we have to return home and make the story, happily ever after, not badly ever after.”

I LOVED this book, and gave this book 5 stars! A great story of adventure, Sarah Mlynowski returns with another adventurous story, spill the beans! Later till next time climbers!
