A well-designed bag isn't a luxury—it's a tool that shapes how we move through our cities. That's what drives my work every day.
About Martin
Martin's journey into the world of carry solutions began during his studies at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. He became fascinated by how everyday objects shape our daily routines. After graduating in 2010, he spent five years at a Prague-based product development firm, where he contributed to designing bags and carrying systems for major European brands.
His turning point came in 2015 when he relocated to České Budějovice and began documenting local commuting patterns. What started as a curiosity evolved into a passionate research project examining how people actually use tote bags and gym duffels in their daily lives. This grassroots research led to several published articles on sustainable carry solutions and informed design practices that he brings to thejuniorinc today.
What drives Martin is straightforward: practical objects deserve thoughtful design. He views a well-designed bag not as a status symbol but as an essential tool that can genuinely improve quality of life. At thejuniorinc s.r.o., he channels this philosophy into content that educates readers about making smart choices for their specific commuting needs, always grounded in real user data and local context.
